TranslateCAD - The purpose of this software tool is to save our fellow translator's valuable time and effort when translating drawings. It basically extracts the text from any DXF (AutoCAD) drawing and creates a plain text file in Unicode (so any language is supported). Then, you translate with any CAT tool (Trados, Wordfast, DVX, etc.) and save the translated file as a text Unicode file as well. Finally, TranslateCAD re-joins the text with the "skeleton" and creates a translated, usable drawing.
